At any time you can go back to their site and change prices, change what offers you will auto-reject, and move books to an auction. You can also set if you will take offers and what percentage of your listing price you will auto-reject offers. Also keep in mind when setting a price that mycomicshop adds a small buyer's premium. Their website is very slick and a lot of thought was put into it's design. When setting a price their website shows GPA, current books on their site for consignment and how long they've been for consignment, current books for auction on their site, and previous sales on their site. Once mycomicshop receives the books and scans them and grades the raws you can set Bin prices or move them into an auction. To be safe I only sent raw books that they'd take on consignment in any grade. Mycomicshop will take any CGC graded book on consignment and any book on their online buying database that meets their minimum grade for that book. We've seen a lot of over-priced consignment books on mycomicshop so our goal was to price around market and lower than other consignees. We decided to try mycomicshop because their consignment fee is quite reasonable 8-10%, they have a good reputation, and they list both on their website and on ebay and they have a lot of followers on both. We don't want to run ebay auctions or Bins, pack and ship individual books, and have to deal with potential fraud or lost packages or returns. I've had a few questions about our experience with mycomicshop thus this thread. ![]() ![]() They give out your information without consent.Artboy99 and I have been selling at shows for many years but with no shows thanks to Mr Covid decided to send some books to mycomicshop. Their prices are inflated compared to other online graphic novel dealers. They appear to give out customer's emails without their consent as well. I looked on other sites for the same book I ordered and those who had it were pricing it for at least $50 less in the same condition! I should have just gone with one of their competitors in the first place! No wonder they had to close up their brick and mortar stores years ago! The negative Glassdoor reviews on being an employee there do not appear to be a positive sign either! After I ordered from them I received an uptick in the amount of junk emails I receive. She lied flat out as hours later the refund was granted through PayPal. When I called back Beth Abbott denied that Buddy ever said he was giving me a refund. Called back and spoke to Skyler who also ignored my request and told me, "the conversation is over" I emailed them requesting an ETA of my refund that they promised and had to open up a PayPal request. I asked for it in writing but he ignored this request and said he was hanging up. Called them on 7/20/18 for refund and they were rude and would not even refund my shipping! I called back on 7/30/18 and spoke to the owner, Buddy who accused me of being the rude party but promised me a refund. Obviously the words were NOT written on the package as promised by Beth. The package was left outside and went missing. My local post office looks for this on any packages of mine they get and WILL hold it at the post office if they see the words on the package. I still have this email in my Hotmail account. Beth Abbott from M圜 said over email she would. Asked them over email to put "Do not leave outside" on the package. ![]()
